AOET’s Rehaboth School

Education is a prized commodity in most of Uganda. The children love going to school, and are so excited to learn that they don’t even seem to care where it is they go to learn. This photo shows the old Rehaboth primary school, which is now the home of the tailor school. These simple structures provide basic protection from the elements and serve their purpose well. Imagine our amazement when we saw the new Rehaboth primary school (still under construction) which is shown below.
This school project is extremely aggressive, and is described by the children as “just like an American school.” Although looks are certainly not everything, this AOET project raises the bar for the education of Uganda’s most valuable resource: it’s children.
