We found an ant infestation in one of the donated laptops. Don’t they know electricity and insects don’t mix? Speaking of electricity, it was spotty. Not only did power drop (a LOT), but the power supplies on hand were really old, mostly broken an relatively dangerous. Most had loose internal connections, and required fidgeting with the plug before they “worked”. To hook up a US plug to this type of socket, we were told to stick a key into the negative slot to disengage the plastic guard, then we could put our plugs in. I can’t tell you how many times we did this. I was glad each socket had an on/off switch.
