Google Search: filetype:ini ws_ftp pwd
xewan rates this entry 8 out of 10. Submitted: 2004-05-26 00:00:00 Added by: xewan Hits: 20271 Score: 8 The encryption method used in WS_FTP is _extremely_ weak. These files can be found with the “index of” keyword or by searching directly for the PWD= value inside the configuration file. Comments: 2004-06-25 13:40:28 (matthais): !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! o my god !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope everyone who finds this is whitehat!!!!!!! the encryption sucks on these, I knew, but I thought it was very hard to find the file! 2004-07-01 21:12:06 (h2007): FYI – howto unecrypt the password in the PWD= simply change the username to “anonymous” and reopen ws_ftp, it will unmask the password. 2004-07-02 07:47:13 (murfie): There is an easy way to decrypt the hash, use the decryptor at: http://www.codebluehacks.com/Tools.php?ID=1 Thanks goes to Matthais who submitted it on the googledorks forum ! 2004-07-26 03:05:05 (DarkCc): so how i can decrypted this passwd PWD=6D767464776A7D38 2004-07-26 18:59:04 (line): murfie.. http://www.codebluehacks.com/Tools.php?ID=1 is down.. did you have another download links? 2004-07-27 18:30:13 (DarkCc): here another link http://www.hispasec.com/directorio/laboratorio/Software/ws_ftp.html ;) 2005-03-01 05:28:17 (peleos): Very good :-) I found about 10 actve accounts, other are out of date.
