Phrack 52: Steganography Thumprintinghot!
- 26.01.1998
- A decent article, although it's old. This was my first real article/paper. I met Mike (Shiffman) / Daemon9 / Route through a friend of mine, Topher, and we got to chatting. We came up with the idea of this paper, and here it is. Seems like a lifetime ago.

Vulnerabiilty Assessment Guide - IIS 3 & 4hot!
- 20.10.1998
- A sketchy attempt as keeping my head screwed on straight when digging through Microsoft Windows IIS servers. This document was stream-of-consciousness stuff that i tossed some formatting into. Talks about default files and folders and exploits against the servers. old but good. =P

Using traceroute as an ACL determinatehot!
- 07.10.1999
- This was a document I put together after a "reputable" security firm argued that we missed a UDP hole in the firewall which they picked up after running the "tracert" program. I did this writeup as soon as I verified their spelling of "tracert". ;)

Application Information Gatheringhot!
- 13.06.2000
- A document similar in purpose to the Netware Guide. Early in my training of junior assessment guys, this came in real handy. This shows various common techniques for NT and Unix information gathering. So, if you find a service open with a portscanner, this document gives you an idea of what to do next.
