Uganda - Residence "huts" |

We're in Uganda, thanks to Grace and our many supporters! Here's a quick photo of the volunteer residence huts. To look at it, you would think we were in a tropical paradise! Make no mistake, though... this is Uganda, and giant cockroaches, geckos, spiders are commonplace, even indoors. Power outages are fairly common. Still, the residence is VERY comfortable, and when compared to the other homes in the neighborhood, it is palatial. There is no crime in the neighborhood, which is what I would expect (being a culturally retarded American) but Sam and Nancy's home is gated and guarded at night to prevent "wanderers" and to deter theft. We are blessed to be here.
